Small Websites are good. They are yours, they are public, and I think the fact that other’s have to actively check them, or you to actively share them, is more inviting of connection than most social media platforms. Looking through a webring of some kind gives you a better map of a community than twitter, instagram, or any other large platform really can.

Everyone complains about “Discoverability”, but for those of us that aren’t attempting to get a book deal or become some kind of influencer there needs to be some kind of alternative. That’s what this website is. I like to write, I like to curate links for people, I like to share my thoughts. I have a deep desire to know others and be known. Is it cringe? Or is it the mortifying ordeal?
